Urban Meyer to serve as keynote speaker for August 20 event, limited tables available
SCOTTSDALE, AZ – With legendary coach Urban Meyer as keynote speaker, the Fiesta Bowl Kickoff Luncheon will have a new title partner as Arizona Bank & Trust has joined in a multi-year agreement.
Arizona Bank & Trust shares a commitment to community involvement and corporate citizenship. With locations throughout the Valley of the Sun, the financial institution specializes in business lending and deposit services and provides a wide variety of personal credit and deposit services along with complete electronic banking programs.
“Arizona Bank & Trust is proud to sponsor the Fiesta Bowl Kickoff Luncheon, as we’ve been impressed with the organization and all it does for Arizona’s charities. Clear in their mission to be ‘More Than Just a Game,’ the team won us over in how well they have leveraged the best event in collegiate sports, while at the same time bringing the community together for the betterment of Arizona,” said Arizona Bank & Trust President & CEO Bill Callahan. “Our own success is based on earning clients ‘one relationship at a time,’ and we are confident that this partnership with the Fiesta Bowl will provide us the opportunity to reach out throughout Arizona and make a difference in many lives.”
The seventh annual Arizona Bank & Trust Fiesta Bowl Kickoff Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, August 20, at the Arizona Biltmore. Fewer than 10 tables are still available and start at $2,000 for 10 people. For more information about the event or to reserve a table, please visit FiestaBowl.org or call 480.350.0911.
In addition to an exciting presentation from Meyer, the Arizona Bank & Trust Fiesta Bowl Kickoff Luncheon will feature exclusive ticket packages for the 2019 College Football Playoff Semifinal at the PlayStation® Fiesta Bowl and the Cheez-It® Bowl. Attendees will also experience photo opportunities and learn the grant recipients from the 2019-20 Fiesta Bowl Charities Grant Cycle. A portion of each table sale is designated for Cheez-It® Bowl ticket purchases as part of the Community Champions program.
“We welcome Arizona Bank & Trust to join us in one of our premier events during the year. Both organizations have a philosophy to deliver first-in-class customer service and improve the lives of Arizonans,” said Mike Nealy, Executive Director of the Fiesta Bowl. “The Kickoff Luncheon brings our business community and football fans together to celebrate the season ahead and interact with one of college football’s biggest personalities.”
Past years’ keynote speakers include former Oklahoma Head Coach Bob Stoops, Notre Dame’s Lou Holtz, Nebraska’s Tom Osborne and Tommie Frazier and Arizona State’s Jake Plummer.
The Arizona Bank & Trust Fiesta Bowl Kickoff Luncheon marks the beginning of the Fiesta Bowl season of events, with the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl and Cheez-It® Bowl and various non-football events also highlighting the calendar. Through these events, the Fiesta Bowl has donated over $12.5 million to Arizona nonprofits in the last eight years – including more than $7 million in the last three years alone.
