SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Tickets for the 22nd Annual Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl will go on sale Monday, Aug. 30th.
The Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl has substantially upgraded its selections from the Big 12 and Big Ten Conferences. It will match the third selection from the Big 12 after Bowl Championship Series teams are determined against the third or fourth pick from the Big Ten after BCS selections.
Had this deal been in place a year ago, our projections show that Oklahoma and Wisconsin would have met in Tempe’s Sun Devil Stadium last December. The Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl also would have matched Nebraska and Northwestern in 2008, Texas Tech and Penn State in 2007 and Texas and Iowa in 2006.
The bowl previously had the fifth pick from each conference after BCS selections.
This year’s game kicks off at 8:00 p.m. MST on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, in Tempe’s Sun Devil Stadium.
The Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl offers one of the best bargains in major-college football, with a family of four able to attend for less than $100. Tickets cost $62, $37 and $22. Parking passes are $20.
Tickets may be purchased online at www.buffalowildwingsbowl.org or by calling 480-350-0911 or 800-635-5748. Tickets are also available at the ticket office, 7135 E. Camelback Road, Suite 190, in Scottsdale.
