Since its inception, the challenge was to set up a “community in space.” Moving forward, a new top-secret mission will be put in place. This new challenge is being designed to expand on the students’ skills and introduce a new way of thinking when it comes to solving interstellar dilemmas.

In order to maintain the Fiesta Bowl Aerospace Challenge’s dedication to serving Arizona’s students, we will take a one-year hiatus. The one-of-a-kind event is set to return for the 2020-21 academic year with a new and improved aerospace mission.

Beginning in 2020, the Fiesta Bowl will work with experts in the field to ensure the new top-secret mission will positively impact the hundreds of participating students. The new mission is being created with the previous participants in mind – including 271 schools across the state, over 3,000 teams and upwards of 12,000 students.
